In other cabins at other camp
type resorts we were disappointed in how un-kepted the cabins were i.e. very
worn and scratch linens/towels, dusty furniture and musty odors. I
was qute surprised that even the window sills were wiped off in our cabin.
It was very clean! You offer great deals and value with your cabins.
We also enjoyed the variety of activities available. n other cabins at other camp

This resort is like heaven to
me and my favorite place to visit. It is great place for kids and pets.
Last summer while visiting we checked out other places only to find we had
already found the best. All of your hard work shows and is appreciated.

Your doggie care kit is a great
addition to the cabin - it makes the difference between "dogs allowed" and
"dogs welcome". Thank you!
The staff are excellent always
helpful and knowledgeable on the area. We love the dog buddy!

We really liked the web
site pictures. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival We
have stayed in other places in the past were the pictures show the place
before it has had years of use.
NOTE: Wallowa Lake Resort updates its pictures yearly.
We appreciated being able to
come in so late with the heat on. A nice man escorted us to our cabin
even thought it was midnight! Thanks so much.
We needed batteries for
the remote and the clock did not seem to work. The check-in person and
maintenance person were both very helpful and nice.
NOTE: Wallowa Lake Resort delivered a new clock and replaced the
batteries in the TV remote.
Wallowa Lake Resort staff are helpful and accommodating. They seem genuinely concerned with
the comfort of their guests. We had a very nice stay and would visit
again and recommend to others. We enjoyed the hot tub. Thanks for
keeping the noise down with the guest next door! We loved the Wallowa Lake cabin experience
and believe it to be a great part of the lodging options at Wallowa Lake.
Simply awesome! We are already
planning next year!
Brian and I wanted to tell you how much
we enjoyed our short vacation at Wallowa Lake Resort. You guys went
above and beyond to make us feel at home. Thanks again for getting the
sap out of my jeans, they are my favorite. We will be suggesting you
facility to anybody heading your direction. You can be sure that you
will see us again in the near future.

Drain upstairs was slow to drain.
NOTE:
This drain was fixed the next morning one hour after the problem was reported.
Our lake office allows a quick response for all issues. Note all cabins are
within a few minutes of our 24 hour office.
The most
comfortable beds I have ever slept in on vacation. Everything is very
clean and comfortable. I loved the country charm of cabin 15.
The cleanest accommodations we have
every stayed in. A perfectly lovely vacation and the facilities are
terrific. We will definitely be back.
Staff
was very friendly and the cabin was spotless. Loved the very comfortable
king bed. We would love to see a porch swing.
NOTE: The porch swing is a nice idea but
would be unsafe for small children.
Cabin was very clean. Would be
nice to have a place to hang your coat by the entry door.
NOTE: We have subsequently added coat hooks behind
door of this cabin. We also added towel hooks to bathrooms.
A tree fell
across a power line leaving us without electricity. The management
called the power company. In the meantime, Wallowa Lake Resort gave us
$80 for dinner! By the time we got back from dinner our power had been
restored. I was amazed at the personnel service.
VCR/DVD player did not work on arrival.
Loved the home on the river what a beautiful place.
NOTE: The VCR/DVD player was replaced with a new player
within minutes of the customers call.
Would love to have a broom and cleaning
supplies. We wanted to cleanup a bit more prior to leaving.
NOTE: Great comment we now provide a broom and
cleaning supplies in each cabin.
We were thrilled with the
accommodations. Loved the king bed and televisions in the bedrooms. Have
stayed at the lake before but will be back to cabin #9.
Loved cabin #13. The only negative
was the age of the dishware. NOTE: We
are replacing all dishware for the coming year. All cabins have their
kitchen inventoried each year with items replaced as needed. No more
ugly pans!

plenty of great views.

The coffee maker does not keep the
coffee hot. You may need a new coffee pot.
NOTE: The coffee maker was replaced with a new one the
next day. WLR keeps spare TV's, coffee makers, microwaves and toasters.
Doug's service was exceptional.
Thanks for the info on the area, your maps and helpful hints. We will be
back.
Love that you are so friendly to our two
Scotties. You have a great location and lovely property. Owner
furnished additional garbage can liners and dishwashing soap very quickly.
Keep up the good work. NOTE: The Wallowa
Lake Resort office is 5 minutes from all of our vacation rental. Our 24
hour staff are ready to resolve any guest need.
Kitchen was well equipped with
everything easy to find. Oh yes, thanks for the great fishing
tips.
My wife and I
stopped by for one night and liked it so much we stayed another night.
Sean at the front desk was pleasant to deal with. Thankfully, the power
was restored within 30 minutes.
The information on the area was very
helpful since we had never been here before. Loved the hike to slick
rock a perfect recommendation. Loved that you are pet friendly.
Others say they are but you are the real pets welcome place at the lake.
I recommend your Wallowa Lake cabins to
anyone. The site is wonderful, the hosts are accommodating and the price
is right. See you next year!
All of the lights
went out from the wind storm. Patti came by within a few minutes with
candles and flashlights.
