Wallowa Lake Festival of Music, Arts, and Crafts
September 26, 27 & 28, 2008


This music festival (previously called Alpenfest) will be in a 1930s hunting lodge located next to the Wallowa Lake Tramway.  The hall will decorated and equipped with bandstand, dance floor and dining area.  We will be serving beer and wine.

For lunch and dinner we will be serving german sausage and specially prepared sauerkraut. Our all you can eat breakfast includes eggs, breakfast sausage and blueberry pancakes.   We will also have 3-bean vegetarian chili.

Outside the hall is a maze of open air booths, displays and demonstrations of woodworking, homemade pies, handmade candles, paintings, furniture, jewelry, ceramics and more.

We have 5 great types of music during the three day event.

  • Friday (2 PM to 6 PM) we will have the Hard Top Ramblers (Blues Band)

  • Friday (7 PM to 11:30) we will have the Skyline Band (Country Music)

  • Saturday (2 PM to 6 PM) we will have the Waste Land Kings (Music Variety)

  • Saturday (7 PM to 11:30) we will have Rim Shot  (Classic Rock)

  • Sunday (11 AM to 2 PM) we will have Trio Romanva (Classical music)
