General Information You need only bring food and personnel items since Wallowa Lake Resort cabins are fully equipped. Optionally you may want to bring paper towels, coffee, napkins and charcoal for places without propane barbeques. Kitchens are equipped with cooking utensils, dishes, silverware, coffee pots, microwaves and toasters. We supply all linens, towels and bedding. We heat our cabins with electric heat, propane and/or fireplaces (wood is provided). Most of our cabins have cable TV and VCR's/DVD Players. Free videos/DVDs are provided at the Wallowa Lake Resort. Please remember outside fires are prohibited at anytime.
Cancellations There is a $25.00 processing fee on all cancellations or date changes. A cancellation within 30 days or less of the arrival date will forfeit 100% of the deposit amount (or one nights stay). A cancellation within 7 days or less of the arrival date, will forfeit any days we are unable to re-rent.
Reservations To make a reservation you can e-mail us (wallowavacation@wildblue.net), call us (541-432-2391) or make an Online Reservations.
If you call tell us which vacation rental you would like and the date of your arrival and departure. You will need to provide your name, address, phone number and optionally an e-mail address. You also must provide a VISA or MasterCard number. This is required for a damage security. You must agree that any damages or excessive cleaning can be charged to your credit card.
On making your reservation you will need to pay one night deposit. Make your money order out to "Wallowa Lake Resort". We also accept VISA and MasterCard as a deposit. Upon receipt of your deposit via credit card number or check we will send you a confirmation. Your date is not guaranteed until we receive your deposit or debit your credit card. The remaining amount is due upon your arrival and paid at the Wallowa Lake Resort office. We only take money orders, cash or VISA and MasterCard. We do not take personnel checks. Remember there is a 6% lodging tax applied to all stays.
Pets Pets are permitted at many of our vacation rentals (maximum of 2). There is a nonrefundable $8/night fee for each pet. Please be a responsible pet owner and adhere to the following pet owner rules.
Wallowa Lake Resort is pet friendly which means we do not collect large damage deposits, require high pet fees or impose excessive restrictions. Our ability to allow pets is determined by how well our guests adhere to our pet policies. Thanks for your help. We love out 4 legged guests!
Checking In You will be provided a key to your cabin upon arrival at our office (Wallowa Lake Resort). Please call if you will be arriving late and we will be sure you get in to your cabin. We have a night buzzer at the lake that allows you to get help any time of day or night. Check-is 3PM.
Checking Out To allow each cabin to be cleaned by 3PM check-out time is 11AM. All you have to do prior to leaving is empty the refrigerator, do your dishes and leave your key in our office key box. If you have ideas for improving our cabins please complete a comment sheet on your departure. We hope you had a nice stay.
Seasons Depending on weather our operating seasons are spring, summer, fall and winter. Snow can fall at Wallowa Lake as early as October and stay as late as May. If you like winter sports and quiet solitude ask us about a winter stay. We keep some of the cabins open all winter.
